9:00 am till 2:00 pm at Fool Hollow Lake (in Show Low, Arizona)! If you haven’t been in a while, please come.
Since it isn’t possible to do these things for free, we do request that you help the family organization by paying your dues, which is $10.00 per person, or $25.00 for a family of three or more. Paul and Scott Petersen and Wanda Randall and their families are once again preparing our lunch! Derald McNiel will also provide corn on the cob as he has for a number of years. If you were there last year, you know the food will be great! An RSVP would be helpful in planning for the amount of food. Based on return mail (both e-mail and postal), we have lost track of literally hundreds of family members.
We need help from everyone to keep our address database up to date. We will post the names of those we have lost track of on our family WEB site. REMEMBER: This is only a list of those with whom we HAD contact, that has become outdated...we don't know where much of the family is! If you know the address and/or email of any of these family members, please let us know. This list will also be available at the reunion. Please send an e-mail, postal letter, or phone call to ALL your immediate family about the reunion (Parents, Siblings, Children)! Tell them to do the same and remind them to RSVP also! Together, we can spread the word and let ALL of Niels and Lars decendants (many of whom we have not met) know about the reunion!
As you know our WEB site is www.petersenlink.com. We will have details about reunions posted at this site. We thank Jarret Petersen who is our webmaster. We will eventually be posting the names and addresses and/or email addresses of all family members who consented. We sent out consent forms in 2005. If you didn’t return yours or give your consent, your name and address will NOT be on the WEB. You can send me an email or letter if you would like to consent. We will keep a hard copy of your mail as proof of your consent. As the WEB site matures it will be a valuable repository for family information. We can also post links here if you have a family web site that you would like to share with everyone else.
If you would like to share talents, crafts, etc. at the reunion, please do. In 2005, we had an electric piano, but probably won’t this year. Fool Hollow has a number of campgrounds if you would like to come a day or two early and camp. You will need to make those arrangements on your own.
